We had a pretty rough start to our week. It had been raining a lot so I was on a mission to find Maddie some rain boots. After three stores, I finally found some in the garden area of Target. Now my girl would be ready to tackle those puddles that she always seems to find.

Maddie was all set with her new boots and rain jacket so her Daddy let her run through a few puddles one afternoon. She was having a blast until....
she landed flat on her face. She was soaked from head to toe and had a pretty nice bump on her head.
She looks so sweet here, but don't be fooled! This week, she also learned how to climb out of her crib! There was a night where she didn't want to go to bed and was really upset. I had been in her room a couple of times and couldn't get her to settle down, so I just left her in her crib for a minute. All of a sudden we heard a huge thump! She had landed on her feet with her blanket in hand. This girl knows what she wants and will fight to get her way!To complete our week, Papa and Grammy came to visit! Maddie was so excited to see them!
Perfect ending to our week! Spending time with family...see you in a few weeks!!
