New Auntie!!!

I am pleased to announce that I have a new niece born last night to my brother Matt and his wife Jen. Alexia Joy weighed in at 6.15lbs and was 19 3/4". Joy is Jen's sister Nikki and my middle name so we are proud to share the name with her. Dalen is excited to have a baby sister and thinks she is pretty special. It's so hard to be far away right now and I would do anything to hold that sweet baby girl.

We had a great weekend in Rochester spending time with Bob's family. It was great to see Bob's Mom and also Rob came for a visit.

Big Day!!

I am so proud of our little girl! Today she came and told me that she needed to go potty. Like always, I got her undressed, sat her down, and give her one square of toilet paper. She usually tells me she is done right away, but today was different. She actually went!! I was so excited and made such a big deal of it that I hope she will continue to tell us when it's time. I gave her a treat and told her how proud I was of her. I'm not sure if she actually knew why I was so excited, but today was a big day for her!

Valentine's Day!!

We had a really nice Valentine's Day! Even though Bob and I had to work, we were both home in the evening and Bob made a fantastic dinner of king crab, potatoes and asparagus! It was a perfect evening at home with the ones you love!

Dancing Queen!

I thought I would give you a shot of Maddie's dancing skills! She is SO funny and loves to dance anytime music comes on. There are many nights when we have to stop what we are doing and dance with her. We are reminded everyday just how blessed we are and how she always puts a smile on our face!

On Sunday night we made fruit loop bracelets with Maddie. Here are a few pictures from our little project. I think she ate more then she put on the bracelet, but it was still fun!

Our girl is getting so big and it is time to post some more pictures. She loves to color, sing and dance. She counts to ten now and amazes us everyday by how much she absorbs. There are days when I really miss the baby stage, but this age is really fun too. She makes us laugh everyday and is the joy of our lives!
